How to Install Infinite Options
Before you start creating options, you’ll need to add the Infinite Options block to your product template. This installation only needs to be completed once for your current theme.
This page covers installation for Shopify 2.0 themes.
If your store is using a vintage Shopify 1.0 theme, such as Debut, there are separate installation guides that walk through how to add the app snippet directly to your theme code. A link to the 1.0 instructions is available at the bottom of this page.
Infinite Options displays options only on product pages or featured product sections that show a single product. Options won’t appear in collections, quick views, or AI-generated product blocks that include multiple products.
Quick Start for Shopify 2.0 Themes
If you are familiar with the Shopify theme editor, you can install Infinite Options in a few steps:
Go to Online Store, then Themes, and click Customize.
In the top dropdown, open Products and select your product template.
In the left panel under your product information section, click Add block.
Select Infinite Options Fields from the Apps tab.
Save your changes.
You can now begin creating options in the Infinite Options app.
Installing Infinite Options on a Shopify 2.0 Theme
Follow the detailed steps below if you prefer guided installation.
Step 1: Open your theme editor
In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store, then Themes.
Click Customize next to your current theme.
Step 2: Open your product template
In the top dropdown menu of the theme editor, select Products.
Choose the product template where your options should appear. Most merchants use the Default product template unless they have created custom templates.
Step 3: Add the Infinite Options Fields block
In the left sidebar, locate the section that contains your product information.
Below the variant picker, click Add block.
Select Infinite Options Fields from the Apps tab.
If you do not see this block available, your theme is not a Shopify 2.0 theme. Use our 1.0 installation instructions linked at the bottom of this page.
Step 4: Save your changes
Click Save in the upper right corner.
Once saved, Infinite Options will display any Option Sets you create and assign from within the app.
Adding Options With Additional Costs
If you want to add a cost, use the price tag icon within your option set. This tool connects the option to a Shopify product with a price so the total updates when the shopper selects it.

Troubleshooting
The Infinite Options Fields block does not appear This block is only available for Shopify 2.0 themes. If it does not appear, your theme is a 1.0 theme or a heavily customized template. Use the 1.0 installation guide linked below.
Options are not appearing on the product page Check the following: • The Option Set is assigned to the correct product • The Option Set is saved • The block was added to the correct product template
My product template does not match these examples Themes organize product information differently. Look for any section containing your product title, price, variants, or buy button.
Options still do not appear after adding the block Try refreshing your browser, clearing cache, or previewing the theme again. Some themes with significant custom code may require manual adjustments.
