How to Install Infinite Options

Before creating options, you’ll need to add the Infinite Options Fields block to your product template.

This installation only needs to be completed once per theme.

Step 1: Open the Theme Editor

From your Shopify admin:

• Go to Online Store → Themes

• Click Customize next to your current theme

Step 2: Open Your Product Template

At the top of the theme editor:

• Click the dropdown menu

• Select Products

• Choose your product template

The product template controls how your product pages look. Most merchants use the Default product template.

Step 3: Add the Infinite Options Fields Block

In the left sidebar:

• Locate the section that includes your product title, price, variants, and buy button

• Click Add block

• Select Infinite Options Fields from the Apps tab

Step 4: Save Your Changes

Click Save in the upper right corner.

Once saved, Infinite Options will display any Option Sets you create and assign inside the app.

You can now begin creating options.

Not Seeing the Infinite Options Block?

If you do not see the Infinite Options Fields block in the Apps tab, your theme may not support Shopify 2.0 app blocks.

If you do not see an Add block option in the theme editor, your theme is likely a Shopify 1.0 theme.

Shopify 1.0 themes require a manual installation.

Important to Know

Infinite Options displays options only on:

• Product pages

• Featured product sections that show a single product

Options will not appear in:

• Collection pages

• Quick view popups

• Sections that display multiple products

Adding Options With Additional Costs

If you want an option to increase the product price:

• Use the price tag icon inside your Option Set

• Connect the option to a Shopify product that has a price

When selected, the total will automatically update.

Explore Additional Features

• Date Picker: Add a calendar option so customers can select a date

• Swatches: Attach images or colors to options

• Conditional Logic: Show or hide options based on previous selections

• Conditional Logic with Swatches: Combine swatches with logic rules

• Creating a Variety Pack: Allow customers to choose multiple scents or flavors

Troubleshooting

Options are not appearing on the product page

Check the following:

• The Option Set is assigned to the correct product

• The Option Set is saved

• The Infinite Options block was added to the correct product template

My product page looks different from the examples

Themes organize product information differently.

Look for the section that includes your:

• Product title

• Price

• Variant picker

• Buy button

Add the Infinite Options block inside that section.

Options still do not appear after installation

• Refresh your browser

• Clear your cache

• Preview the theme again
