Native Bundling allows you to easily charge an additional cost for an option.

What is Native Bundling?

Native Bundling is a feature that allows you to charge a cost for an option selection directly on the option value when bundling a product.

When you bundle a product, set the price for the cost of the option selection in the price field to the right of the option value.

When that option is chosen, the cost of the order will adjust to reflect the price of the bundle you set.

What is the new functionality in Native Bundling that differs from Legacy Product Bundling?

  • Native bundled products do not need to be published on the Online Store sales channel.

  • Prices for the bundles are set entirely in Infinite Options. The price of the bundled product is the static value that is set in the option value. Updates to the product price in Shopify will not affect the price in Infinite Options.

  • When initially creating the bundle, the product price will be used as the default value.

  • On the order, products will appear bundled in the Shopify admin within a collapsible menu on the parent product that allows you to view the bundled products.

  • _io_parent_order_group code will no longer be displayed in the cart, at checkout, or on the order.

How to enable Native Bundling

In the Settings menu of the Infinite Options app, enable Native Bundling.

Any existing bundles or products will remain bundled if upgrading from legacy to the Native Bundling feature.

How do I display the add-on price changes on the product page?

Enable the dynamic bundle price block to display add on price changes directly on the product page. 1. From your Shopify admin dashboard, navigate to Online Store, and then Themes.

2. Next to your theme's name, hit the Customize button to go to the theme editor.

3. In the drop-down menu at the top, select Products, and then your product template.

4. In the left sidebar, hide or remove the Price theme block.

5. Hover below the Price section and click Add Block.

6. The result should look like this.

7. Click into the Dynamic Bundle Price block and adjust the styling settings.

8. Hit the Save button at the top right of the theme editor to save your changes.
